FAIRS AND EVENTS

Verona, May 25th - 29th, 2013

SIAB (organized by VeronaFiere and the Federation of Italian Bakers) is the most important Italian baking event and one of Europe’s major fairs in the sector, and this year the triennial event will be held in Verona from the 25th to the 29th of May.

The 12th Pharmapack Europe also takes place this year at the Grande Halle de La Villette (Paris, 13-14th February 2013), with the proven formula of exhibition and conference dedicated to the management and the packaging of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and health products.

THE FORMULA THE MARKET LIKES Figures up for the second edition of SPS/IPC/DRIVES Italia. Motivated thus the satisfaction of the organizers (Messe Frankfurt), the Parma fair body that hosts the same and all participants (exhibitors and visitors), who gave rise to a three-day event of high-level technology, going further into one of the items most keenly associated with productivity: industrial automation.

The eighth ICE Europe has been brought forward to spring. To be held in Muncih 19th to 21st March 2013, at the same time as CCE International: a new B2B event focusing on corrugated and flat board processing.

Ours is a difficult world. A world in which even our fears have changed, and changed for the worse. This the sense of the talk given by professor Paolo Legrenzi which closed the proceedings of the fourth edition of the Economic Packaging Conference (Venice 30th and 31st May) organized by the Istituto Italiano Imballaggio in cooperation with Conai, the Italian national packaging consortium.

At the end of may more than 1000 exhibitors, 49% of which non French, had booked space at the international exhibition which will take place in Paris from 19th to 22nd November 2012.

Online registration to interpack 2014 will open in October to close February 28th 2013. Among the already defined theme areas, following previous success, the Innovation Parc Packaging (IPP), that last year featured the relation between packaging and quality of life.
