BeeGraphic has become the exclusive dealer and distributor for Italy in 15 European countries for Phoenix, the well-known advanced software for converting and label concerns by Tilia Labs.

The two entities, one a Drupa organizer and the other a representative of the Chinese print systems industry and sponsor of the Print+Print China fairs, are launching a new joint event for the occasion of the upcoming China Print 2013 (Peking, May 14th-18th).

With a further increase in attendance (+16%), the eighth edition of ICE Europe turned out to be the largest thus far in the German converting and flexible materials event’s history. The organizers (Mack Brooks Exhibitions) recorded the arrival of 6,600 machines, products and systems to Munich between the 19th and 21st of last March, originating from 64 countries.

Madina Printing Publishing MPPC has chosen GWS Printing Systems to transfer a heatset print unit from Oslo (Norway) to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Now in its twelfth edition, the international trade fair for printing technologies  and the paper industry takes place at the exhibition center Tuyap in Istanbul (Turkey) May 17th to 22nd.

In the colored boxes the same companies are grouped per product outlet sector: graphic arts, commercial printing, publishing, converting+packaging and “other”.

SECTOR TRENDS Exports show slight signs of recovery, the Italian domestic market is a little less static and the differences between segments are narrowing, even within a general picture of hardship and worry. The study of the overall market situation carried out by the sector Federation updates on the run of machines for print, paper&board manufacture and converting, as well as on graphics-printing, paper&board manufacturing and converting activity.

In the seminars on technology and market trends organized in occasion of Grafitalia, Argi intends promoting a discussion in the sector on good practices and the ethics of operating fairly in the print and the graphic arts world.
