Ecomondo and Key Energy 2017

7 - 10  November 2017, Rimini - Circular economy, renewable resources, energy efficiency, sustainable cities: all the sectors and themes of the green economy at the centre of Ecomondo and Key Energy, the show that as usual is held at the Fiera di Rimini, under the initial IEG (Italian Exhibition Group, born out of the integration between Rimini Fiera and Fiera di Vicenza).

Reconfirmed, during the opening (November 7 to 8) the General States of the Green Economy, organized by the National Council of the Green Economy, in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Economic Development, with the general support of the Foundation for Sustainable Development presided over by Edo Ronchi.

Over 200 the engagements and a thousand speakers in the convention offer concentrated on thematic focuses with the guidance of the Technical Scientific Committee presided over by Fabio Fava (Ecomondo) and Gianni Silvestrini (Key Energy).

Diary of the show
Having last year  celebrated its twentieth edition with 105,574 visitors  (11,000 foreigners) and 1.200 concerns, In 2017 Ecomondo will be able to offer even more sqm of exhibition space, thanks to the extension work being done to the fair quarter.


As usual great space will be given to the subject of waste, both in the exhibition area with the most important technological innovations for collection and disposal, as well as by way of seminars and conferences.


In 2017 what is more SAL.VE. will be back, the biennial Ecological Vehicle Show, in partnership with Anfia, over 6,000 sqm with the entire range of industrial vehicles for the collection of both solid and liquid waste.


The comparison also continues with the experience garnered in the main capitals and medium sized European towns and cities (Municipal waste management in urban areas: comparing international experiences in the perspective of circular economy) organized by Utilitalia. The application of circular economic effects in the urban field will also be the subject of the special feature entitled Circular & Smart Cities.

With the cooperation of Assoraee (Fise Unire) and the RAEE Coordination Center the RAEE Forum will be proposed - objective: 45 out of 100. By the end of 2016 Italy ought to have gathered 45 kilos of electronic waste for every 100 kilos of appliances placed on the market. At what stage are we at? After the success of the first edition the Global Water Expo section this year too it will intercept the most innovatory contents regarding the knowhow and the applications of the hydro industry.

On top of that, more space to hydrogeological instability and the prevention of the risks of climate change, a theme, aboveall in Italy, that is becoming evermore pressing. Reconfirmed and extended the area on the monitoring of the pollutants in “Air, Water and Soil”.
